Christian. The only way that an unsaved person will be able to “see” Christ today is in and through a believer. In that connection, Paul expressed five features about his magnification of Christ. First, its manner was “with all boldness.” The idea behind “boldness” (parrēsia) is a total freedom of speech before God, friends, and foes (Heb 10:19). He requested prayer that he might open his “mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel” (Eph. 6:19). He wanted to speak boldly as he ought to
